Flavors of Autumn 2018 will be held in Mesola from 1st to 4th November 2018. Food stand, tastings, excursions, guided tours and much more.

  • 10.00 a.m.: Pedalata del Tartufo, departure from Mesola (Destra Po cycle path, Bosco di Santa Giustina and Torre Abate, Canal Bianco cycle path, along the route visit to a truffle).   • 10.30 a.m.: Inauguration with refreshments of the 14th edition of Flavors of Autumn, truffles, mushrooms and wilderness delights, with the participation of the Palio di Serravalle and the Cowboy Delta del Po.     
  • 1.30 p.m.: Castagnata in the Estensi gardens in collaboration with Moto Club Adriatico.

  • 2.30 p.m.: Guided excursion by bicycle “From the Wood to the Sea” from Mesola along the Destra Po cycle path to reach Goro, visit the fishing port and then the enclosure, return to Mesola. Inside the Este Castle it shows the painting “The inner measure of the soul” by Alfredo Zanellato.

The Delta Gastronomic Pearls – Nature Festival 2018

Festival della Natura 2018

After the success of the first edition, the Nature Festival 2018 scheduled from 19th October to 4th November will live its second edition with a special study on the gastronomic pearls of the Po Delta: rice, hemp, truffles, mussels, clams and oysters.

Photographic exhibitions and thematic conferences, food and wine stands and tastings will be organized inside the Pomposa Abbey and the Este Castle of Mesola; exceptional testimonials will tell us about their cycling and birdwatching experience; guided tours and excursions by boat and by bicycle to discover the territory of the Po Delta Park, already declared a World Heritage Site and recently awarded with the recognition of the Po Delta Biosphere Reserve of the Unesco MAB program, will complete the varied tourist offer .

The event that will take place in the territory of the Municipalities of Codigoro, Mesola and Goro aims to de-seasonalize the local tourist offer by creating a bridge between the months of September and October and the holiday of 1st November.

Este Castle of Mesola closed for renovation from 8th January 2018

Este Castle closed

Este Castle of Mesola and the Tourist Information Office of Mesola during the Christmas holidays will observe the following opening times:

  • Sunday 31st December 2017 open from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and closed in the afternoon;
  • Monday 1st January 2018 closed all day;
  • Saturday 6 January 2018 open from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and from 2.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m..

Este Castle of Mesola will be closed to visitors for renovations from Monday 8th January 2018.

Este Castle of Mesola will open to the public on Sunday 22nd April 2018.
